After a nearly three-month pause, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted a new draw on September 12, 2024. The last draw had been held on June 13, 2024, and this marks only the third draw of the year—an unusual occurrence for 2024, as draws are typically more frequent.

Key Details of the Latest SINP Draw:

In this latest round, a total of 89 candidates were invited from the Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry streams. The minimum score required for both categories was 88 points.

Occupations In-Demand Stream:

  • 32 candidates were invited.
  • Candidates in this category needed to have either an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) or have been educated in Canada.
  • Some of the occupations that received invitations included:
  • NOC 10010: Financial Managers
  • NOC 10011: Human Resources Managers
  • NOC 21220: Cybersecurity Specialists
  • NOC 21231: Software Engineers and Designers
  • NOC 42202: Early Childhood Educators and Assistants
  • A total of 24 National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes were targeted.

Express Entry Stream:

  • 57 candidates were invited in this category, with the same ECA or Canadian education requirement.
  • Some of the invited occupations included:
  • NOC 11101: Financial and Investment Analysts
  • NOC 21101: Chemists
  • NOC 21233: Web Designers
  • NOC 21301: Mechanical Engineers
  • NOC 80020: Managers in Agriculture
  • A total of 32 NOCs were targeted in this category.
Candidates invited in this draw have 60 days to submit a complete application to the Saskatchewan PNP, along with supporting documents and a non-refundable application fee of CAD$350.
