Canada Provincial Nominee Programs

PNPs or Provincial Nominee Programs refer to the immigration programs that permit the different provinces across Canada to choose the immigrants based on their value in labor market and economy.

If you are among those looking to get hold of a Canadian Permanent Residency Card, then the PNP is worth consideration. Many of the Canadian provinces offer their own Canada Provincial Nominee Programs for Businessmen and Investors. These programs are modeled to inspire trained manpower to reside in those provinces.

The potential immigrants or candidates who desire to immigrate and settle in one of the Canada’s provinces, can now conveniently apply in a respective PNP program that suits them. Each of the provinces has the capacity to allow a set of immigrants based on their criteria, requirement, and other parameters. However, it is not necessary for each of them to be in the PNP program. For example, the Quebec Province is not enrolled for the PNP programs and this is also because it has its own selection criteria and system to choose the immigrants for its region.

The Provinces also carries a contract with IRCC (Immigration Citizenship Refugee Canada) that offer permit for them to select the residents for their own province. What you need to remember is that the PNP program is different from the main stream federal immigration programs of Canada.

Let’s study some of the benefits associated with applying to a Canada PNP for Immigrations to Canada.

  1. You get the liberty to select a province to settle
  2. There is NO mandatory requirement for you to have a job offer
  3. You get points allocated for area of training
  4. There are NO  hassles of pool selections
  5. If you apply in a PNP Canada and get selected, you will receive a nomination from that province, which would further make you eligible to apply permanent residency in Canada.
