British Columbia PNP Invites 163 Candidates in Skills Immigration Draw on September 17, 2024


On September 17, 2024, British Columbia conducted its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, inviting 163 candidates under various Skills Immigration streams. The invitations were distributed among skilled workers, international graduates, and entry-level and semi-skilled workers.


In the general category, skilled workers and international graduates, including those applying through the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option, required a minimum score of 128. Entry-level and semi-skilled workers needed a minimum score of 110 to receive an invitation.


The province also held targeted draws in specific sectors. The childcare sector, which included skilled workers and international graduates, saw candidates with a minimum score of 83 receive 43 invitations. The construction sector invited 29 candidates with a minimum score of 89, while 26 healthcare candidates were invited with a minimum score of 99.


These draws are part of British Columbia’s ongoing efforts to attract and retain skilled workers and international graduates to support the province’s labor market needs.
