How GSM Works?

GSM follows a point system that assess the profiles submitted for Australia PR based on criteria – age, education, English Proficiency, work experience etc. The top ranking profiles of the applicants get the invitation from DIBP (Department of Immigration and Border Protection). The applicants need to score minimum 60 points to qualify for GSM.

Selection is based on profile score, applicant will get an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for desired visa from the immigration authorities. Skilled Nominated Subclass 190 VisaIt is also a permanent residence visa yet nominated by a state or territory in Australia. So, an applicant first needs to acquire state nomination to apply for this visa.

Temporary Visa :

Skilled Regional (Provisional) Subclass 489 Visa: This visa is issued to live and work in Australia for up to 4 years. In order to apply you need the sponsorship or nomination from regional Australia or from a family member settled in regional Australia.
